I wear many hats, have many titles but there’s one that I am going after now and that is (drumroll please)… Ms. Full Figured NC!!!

I will be taking you on my journey to the crown and hope that you enjoy this ride as much as I will. I have been wanting to do this amazing pageant for the past 2 years. I learned of it through the Director, as I met her years before as a model that I did makeup for during Durham Fashion Week (you never know why people come in your life, don’t burn bridges). I’ve followed her as she began the pageant and it has grown. Last year, I worked with 2 of the contestants as a Makeup Artist and one went on to take the crown, my fellow Bennett sister, Ashley Johnson.

So now, it’s my turn to step out on the platform and take my rightful crown. I hope that you will continue your support of me and be there as you always have. The pageant will take place in October and I will be keeping busy in the community with my other sister delegates. If you see us out and about, feel free to say hello.

I will be keeping you updated on my journey and how you can assist me in taking home the win, whether you can physically be here or not; I thank you in advance for being in my corner.
