Onward to 2018

IMG_0798Happy Holidays to all of my amazing clients, followers and friends.  You all have been so amazing in Liking and Sharing my work, as well as referring your friends and family to me.  I truly love what I do and await the day that it could be full time and I’m working towards getting there.  I have a lot that I am working on to make that dream become a reality for 2018.  For some of you that don’t know, I am also an actress, singer and model; I am working to do what I love all day, everyday.

So what should you expect in 2018?  Some I don’t even know but here is what I am working on and just praying that the stars align and it becomes bigger than me.  I am looking to start doing more live videos via YouTube and Facebook.  I’ll also be working on scheduling one-on-one makeup classes, as well as group and online classes.  A line of some sorts is in the works, keep an eye out (reach out should you be willing to assist as a silent partner, donate, or connect me to the right people) for that coming soon.

Each year, my business continues to grow and that is an amazing thing.  I have been nominated for multiple awards as a Makeup Artist, as well as a Full Figured Model.  Although, I did not take home the win; I am so honored to be recognized among my peers and exposed to more potential clients.

So, going into 2018 there’s a chance for you to rock some amazing eyelashes using my discount code.  Cosmic Lashes has some beautiful lashes to make your eyes pop, so click on the link, enter my code: 1w5 and try something new: http://cosmicbeauty.life.  There will be more products that I’ll try and review so you know how to get the same looks that I create for my clients.

Again, thank you so much for all of the love you’ve shown throughout 2017 and I hope to go through 2018 awakening your souls to act.  When you look good, you feel good, and you are at your best!

Happy Holidays!

A’jah Lip Creme

Many of you are unaware that I wear a lot of hats; I am an actress, Makeup Artist, singer and model. Through all of these gifts, I come across a lot of people that are doing amazing things and doing it because they love it and are passionate about it. You never know why your path crosses with someone but it has to be for a reason.

I met the owner of A’jah Lip Crème through a good friend that I perform with. You can say he’s like a brother, so he introduced me to a young lady named Tanita Winchester out of Charlotte, North Carolina. The fact that she had her own lip products immediately piqued my interest as a makeup artist. I’m always down for another woman in business doing her thing, so we connected and I learned more about the creation of A’jah Lip Crème.

The name is sometimes pronounced wrong; it’s not like saying “A” in the English language alphabet. It’s pronounced like saying the A in the French language followed by ‘jah’ (Ah- Jah). She named the company after her daughter because she wanted to leave her daughter with her own company. “She inspires me to go harder everyday,” says Tanita.

Tanita Winchester is a small town girl, born and raised in Reidsville, North Carolina. She had dreams of being in the fashion industry, but ended up working for a linens company from the age of 21 to 28. She is now working for the biggest bank in the world while striving to build her own business.   She wants to be among other young, black, successful entrepreneurs in the cosmetics industry. Tanita came up with the idea of making her own lip gloss in February 2014 and started experimenting in November of the same year. As all women know, we buy makeup and end up having a drawer full of hits or misses, more of the latter most likely. She was the same way, bought some expensive lip-gloss and had buyers’ remorse but kept it anyway because of the brand and the price tag. She liked it, but it was also $22… “that’s gas money.” She spoke with her mother about how much she spent and her mother asked, “Why don’t you make your own?” The light bulb went off and the experimenting began. She wanted the lip-gloss to represent what she likes in a gloss; something thick, moisturizing and long lasting. She wanted to produce something that wouldn’t come off from simply eating or drinking. It had to pop because gloss is shiny; Tanita loves a shiny gloss like most women. She experimented with different natural products until she found the right products, the right consistency, and the right colors. A’jah Lip Crème was born.

A’jah Lip Crème is geared towards young girls and ladies as a whole. We are fun, outgoing, and colorful, have a sense of humor and ready for any adventure. A’jah Lip Crème comes in a variety of colors, metallics, and also matte lipsticks. Samples are also available for purchase. I’m Back

I’ve been gone for a while but a lot has changed since I last right.  I’m more focused on my son, Make-Up, Modeling, Singing/ Acting and just doing what’s best for me.  So I am currently working on my first solo debut show…yes, I’ll be taking center stage on my own. A musical journey … doing the songs I love and hopefully performing for the people I love (with a few surprises). Tickets can be purchased online and/or at the door: SLAY featuring NiSi.   It’s also my Bornday celebration-when the clock strikes 12, I’ll be 34!!

I’m gaining more clientele, trying new things, experiencing life with my eyes wide open.  Who knows what tomorrow will bring…what my future holds but… It’s my time.  See you at the show!!

I have a new job, a new place, a new outlook… iSlay.
